10 important facts you need to know about microfibres

10 important facts you need to know about microfibres

Mechanical fibre cleaning with micro, nano and mono fibres sounds complicated? It is the easiest thing in the world once you understand how it works. Here are 10 important facts you should know about fibre cleaning without chemicals.

1. How do microfibre fibre cloths work?
Each fibre is one
hundred times narrower than a human hair! Impressive right? During the cleaning process, millions of fibres work to loosen the most stubborn of dirt and grease particles, simultaneously collecting the particles with an advanced capillary action.

2. Are microfibres delivering a germ-free clean?
The latest trend is disinfecting everything: actually most cleaning agents kill the bacteria but do not remove them or build up a resistance to the disinfectant, whereas microfibre cleaning, using only water, removes the bacteria and leaves behind only a dry, clean surface. And no chemical residue!
If you have a totally dry, clean surface the germs cannot grow, much in the same way as if we as humans do not have food and water we cannot survive; bacteria cannot survive without water and nutrients. This is proven by Australian Laboratories.

3. Will the tiny fibres end up in the ocean and cause huge environmental problems?
There are cloths out there that are billed as "microfiber” and probably dissolve after a short time. So if you're worried about inhaling fibres or fibres killing sea life and you want lint-free, you should go with a reputable manufacturer. Ha-Ra® products come with a satisfaction guarantee and are made using a
special filament yarn, which enables our products to last many years without disintegration as we promote quality over quantity.

4. Are microfibres a green cleaning solution?
Yes, they are incredibly green as you can
eliminate the use of chemicals and expensive refills are not necessary anymore. Combined with our sustainable stainless steel floor system the fibres are designed to last for years to come.

5. What is the secret behind microfibres?
They work with
molecular level and utilize electrostatics for cleaning. Electrostatic means the static electrical charges (opposite to electric currents). The electrostatic property of microfibers makes them extremely effective in attracting filth particles. This reduces allergy and asthma triggers.

6. Is it safe to clean with vinegar and microfibres?
Using vinegar to clean is still using a chemical compound and isn’t actually helping as it only provides one part of the cleaning process – the acid. For total cleaning system you require an acid and an alkaline. Tests have shown that the
physical removal of bacteria and micro-organisms by scrubbing is actually more effective than the anti-microbial effect of cleaning agents used (killing bacteria).

7. How do microfibres disinfect your home?
Once you cleaned your surface with Microfibres there is
no residue to attract dirt particles - leaving the surface cleaner for longer. Remember: If you have a clean and dry surface - bacteria can't grow.

8. How can I save money on cleaning with microfibres?
You will save money and time in the long run. The Twin City Motor Inn in Albury Wodonga saved up to $1000 within a year - just in chemicals. In addition up to $5000 in wages as the cleaners can
work more efficiently. Outcome: They achieved the accreditation through the “Better Business Tourism Accreditation Program.

9. Is there a Paleo way of cleaning?
Cleaning with microfibres even covers the idea of a Paleo Lifestyle. You can
create a healthy lifestyle & safe home for the whole family while taking the best from our ancestors (water) and mixing it with the best of the 21st Century (Microfibre technology).

10. Is it safe to clean with microfibres?
Microfibres are not just environmentally friendly, cleaning with fibres is predominantly safe for families, children, pets and employees as you just
add water and no toxic chemicals. (OHS Occupational Health and safety)
