Would you be influenced in your choice of holiday accommodation if you knew that no nasty chemicals had been used to clean the property?

And that the products that were being used were sustainable, all-natural and not harmful to you and your family’s health?

When you book with Hotel Molly you can rest assured that the accommodation you choose will be clean, healthy and safe for all the family to enjoy.

The much-anticipated Motel Molly opened December 1 after a multi-million-dollar renovation of a former beachside motel. Motel Molly is one of a kind on the beautiful NSW South Coast, just a few sandy steps from the sparkling ocean. It has the perfect mix of classic South Coast charm and a cool, curated twist.

Inspired by the soft pastel colours of Mediterranean coastal towns like Amalfior Cinque Terre, and with hints of Moroccan design, the 16-room boutique hotel is made to feel like a soulful coastal retreat with a laid-back atmosphere to honour its roots in a laid-back coastal town. Motel Molly is the perfect place to stop on a summer road trip. It is only two hours and forty minutes from Canberra and three hours from Sydney.

Large three-bedroom, two-bedroom, and one-bedroom apartments, as well as several king suites, are all furnished with Smeg appliances from their retro 1950s Aesthetics Line. Some suites also have sunken baths. The interior design team paid close attention to every detail, like the scented candles, room sprays, and bathroom amenities by Le Labo Santal 26 and the handmade Moroccan ceramics and textiles by Lrnce.

The Richards Stanisich team worked closely with designer furniture stores Spence and Lyda and McMullin & Co. to put together a set of furniture for the open floor plans that reflected the motel's retro style while still making people feel at home.

“We believe we’ve struck the perfect balance between the barefoot breeziness of motels of the past and the subtle luxury of boutique hotels.” “Mollymook is one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal towns and we wanted Motel Molly to inspire all visitors to live like a local during their stay, dine under the outdoor cabana and reconnect with nature, to really relax and rejuvenate,” Josh Crealy, co-Director of Knox Developments.
