The Ha-Ra microfibre cleaning technique provides eco friendly commercial cleaning products and removes the need for more than 98% of commercial cleaning products and collects the buildup and residue from surfaces. It does this by absorbing the grime into the fabric rather than spreading it out and making it more difficult to remove.

The Ha-Ra® non toxic commercial cleaning products have a very long lifespan, with carefully designed and patented woven fibres that have been confirmed and tested to not drop lint nor leave residue, hence limiting the formation of bacteria. In addition, the Ha-Ra’s natural commercial cleaning products and fibres are patented.

General cleaning with commercial cleaning products
The Ha-Ra cleaning systems is a general cleaning system that can be used on a variety of surfaces, and it consists of various different fibres. To perform a general clean the Mach 6 Cleaning Glove (for large areas), a Dish Cleaning Cloth (for small areas), and a Star Polishing Cloth (to dry off) are recommended. These products can be used on a variety of different surfaces:

  • Any and all surfaces that are not completely covered in food
  • On the interior and exterior of the cabinets
  • Surfaces for Benches and Ledges
  • Marks on the tiles and walls from the range hood
  • Wet the side of the glove with the blue flecks, then roll the Rollfix twice over the wet side of the glove (this is contains a plant-based pH neutral detergent required for degreasing of surfaces in conjunction with the microfibres).
  • After you have finished drying off, use the Star Polishing Cloth.

Cleaning food areas with organic commercial cleaning products
The Star Polishing Cloth can be utilised to pick up crumbs and to wipe out small surfaces and appliances. After soaking the fabric, wring it out while keeping the fibres coiled in on the inside. This will allow any extra water to escape. Use the Viva Ultra Cloth in a similar way to a scouring pad to remove fat and oil from plastic containers used on the stove top and oven. The Viva Ultra Cloth is also ideal for pots and pans, bowls, paint pots and the sink.  After that, wipe the area with a Star Polishing Cloth to complete the drying process. The Natura Pure Cloth is made of 100% Cotton and works brilliantly as one of our natural commercial cleaning products.

Cleaning windows and screens with commercial cleaning products
Glass can be cleaned by first wetting the 32cm Window Cleaner, then rolling on the Rollfix twice, and finally wiping it down with the Star Polishing Cloth. The Protective Formula is a ph neutral detergent and biodegradable. The surplus water should then be removed using the rubber blade, and the Star Polishing Cloth should be used to dry the blade after each swipe. When it comes to screens and runners, you should first use the vacuum to wipe the tracks out if they are clogged with sand or other material. After it has been wetted, the Green Cleaning Glove should be wrung out. Use a circular motion and very minimal pressure while wiping. Use the Green Cleaning Glove to eliminate the mould that has grown around the window frames and ledges. This Glove is one of our most popular eco friendly commercial cleaning products as it is stocked with various screen, window and cleaning companies.

Cleaning Floors with commercial cleaning products
Dust and crumbs can be collected during a dry cleaning by utilising the stainless-steel Floor System Handle in conjunction with the dry Yellow Dusting Floorpad. Make a "S" motion with the dry Yellow Dusting Floorpad to gather all of the surplus dirt into a pile, which can then be swept up with a dust pan and brush. This procedure is very popular with BIG4 Holiday Parks as they are dealing with a lot of sand on their balconies and porches. Many cleaners swear by these natural commercial cleaning products and method as it won’t scratch your surfaces and is a very quick process.

When cleaning with non toxic commercial cleaning products and water only, we recommend using the stainless-steel Floor System Handle in conjunction with the Hedgehog Gold Floorpad. To complete our range of non toxic commercial cleaning products, you can utilise the Squeeze bucket on wheels. Put the floor pad with the white and blue flecks into the press, raise the lever, place the wet floor pad inside the press, and apply a little bit of pressure to it. In order for the floor piece to be able to slide into the pockets of the floor pad on the side, the clip that is attached to the metal floor handle needs to be pressed down and broken into two pieces. In order to mop the floors slightly damp, rotate the floor pad in an S-shaped motion. This will allow the fibres to glide in one direction, which will allow the sand and dirt to be collected. It is important for the floor pad to hold the right amount of water and the squeeze bucket will assist with this job especially if you are cleaning large areas commercially.

After finishing a piece of the floor measuring 3 metres by 3 metres, take the floor pad and put it back into the squeeze bucket. This will cause any remaining dirt to be released into the water. It is necessary to keep doing this until the entire floor has been cleaned. The rule is that the floor pad needs to have a higher moisture content the dirtier the floor is.

Cleaning desks and working stations with commercial cleaning products
Ha-Ra offers a variety of commercial cleaning products and also has options for organic commercial cleaning products as it is a general cleaning system that can be used on a variety of surfaces. The Mach 6 Cleaning Glove or the Ultra Cleaning Glove and the Star Polishing Cloth can be used for all working stations and desks. If you prefer to use cotton fibres only, opt in for our Natura Pure Cotton Cloth which is made of 100% Cotton.

This system is suitable for every surface, including tables, chairs, pigeon holes and cupboards. First, wet the side of the glove that has the blue flecks, and then roll the Rollfix twice over the wet side of the glove (this contains a plant-based pH neutral detergent required for degreasing of surfaces in conjunction with the microfibres). After you have finished drying off, use the Star Polishing Cloth. We can supply all Safety Datasheets for these commercial cleaning products including the ph-neutral detergent as this is a requirement when used in Hospitals and Steriliser Departments.

Use the Viva Ultra Cloth with some Blue Cleaning Paste to remove crayon and glue, and then wipe off the paste with the Mach 6 Cleaning Glove to finish the job. In addition to being useful for cleaning keyboards, the Viva Ultra Cloth may also be used as an all-purpose scourer for tight spaces. The Dish Cloth is another option for removing any kind of buildup that may have occurred.

Cleaning the bathroom with commercial cleaning products
Many people use natural commercial cleaning products in the bathroom. We recommend the use of our Hedgehog Cleaning Glove to scrub the recess and the shower area to clean both of these areas. This will loosen the damp residue, and the fabric of the glove will absorb the moisture. Clean the glove thoroughly after completing each section. This method can also be used in hand wash basins, toilets and window ledges or drain pipes. You can also use the Viva Ultra Cloth to clean the area behind the taps and the plug holes. We advise always cleaning the sections that are cleaner before moving on to the areas that are dirty. For example, the shower recess and toilet basins in public restrooms are likely to be more contaminated than the window ledges and walls in those same restrooms.

Cleaning toilets with commercial cleaning products
To remove any faeces and urine that could be floating around, brush and flush the toilet first with two drops of the ph-neutral Protective Formula. To clean the bowl of the toilet after flushing, use the toilet brush to remove any residue that may have been left behind. In the event that this is not adequate, use the pH neutral on a selected “toilet cloth” for example the Viva Ultra Cloth with a red stitching. One drop of the Protective Formula applied to the toilet brush will cause the faeces to disintegrate.

First, dampen the Viva Ultra Cloth, then some Protective Formula onto the cloth, and last use it to clean the toilet bowl and seat thoroughly. In the event that the odour remains, take a pail of water and splash it all over the interior of the toilet. Any pee that may have been sitting under the toilet seat will be removed as a result of this action. Use an old rag to wipe off the surface in order to dry it, and then throw the rag into the washing machine. If the odour remains, it is likely that urine is sitting around the toilet, in which case the toilet seat will need to be removed and cleaned.
