Befriending a masterchef

Our very own Leon Naus, managing director of Ha-Ra Australia and keen foodie, had the pleasure of meeting Neha Sen, the 2013 MasterChef contestant and owner of Neha’s Indian inspired food range at the recent Noosa International Food and Wine Festival.

Leon was involved in the festival after becoming a finalist in the Queensland edition of the QANTAS Australia’s Best Home Cooked Dish and attended the VIP party where he met Neha.

With their mutual passion for food and creating new and interesting dishes the pair immediately became friends and plan to have a cook-off soon!

We are keen to see Neha and Leon cooking together to see what delicious creations they can come up with! Fingers crossed they need some taste testers!

Of course they’ll be using the Ha-Ra Vital frying pans (not yet available for sale in Australia – stay tuned) and once they’ve finished making a mess in the kitchen they’ll be reaching for the Ha-Ra gloves to clean up!

Neha has recently launched 5 flavours of Indian Inspired ice creams and 3 flavours of chutney in Melbourne and will go national in the coming weeks. Find out more about Neha and her great products here.

Here’s Leon in the NIFW Festival Competition, what a character!
